Troubleshooting

No satellite signal on screen
Extreme weather could be causing problems. If it is raining hard, snowing heavily or if snow is settling on the dish, or if you are experiencing strong or gale force winds this could cause a reduction in signal quality. Once the extreme weather has subsided your viewing should return to normal. If there is no change, follow the instructions below to perform a Connection Check:
Unplug receiver & plug straight back in, wait 2 minutes with red light on digibox..
Press “sky” button on remote control.
If it says anything about telephone connection press “back up” button.
Press “services”, then 0,4,0,1 on numeric pad.
Press “ select”, then “2” on numeric pad.
You should see the screen “default transponder”.
Change frequency from 11778 to “12110”. Go to polarisation using down arrow (under “select” button).
Change “v” to “h” using right hand arrow.
Next lines 27.5 and 2/3.
Press down arrow 3 times until you are on “save new settings”.
Press “select”.
Press “back up button" 3 times. You should now have searching for listings and the date and time on the screen, wait until the screen changes and press 501 for sky news.
